PATRIOT LEAGUE ANNOUNCES TRAILBLAZERS OF DISTINCTION: Congratulations to Award Winner, Superintendent Dr. Bridget O'Connell:
The Patriot League in conjunction with its 10 full-member institutions has announced its Trailblazers of Distinction to recognize the accomplishments of some of their most impactful women leaders during the Title IX era.
The League worked closely with staff from each of its institutions to identify and honor individual women and memorable teams for contributions to their respective athletics departments, campuses and society at large. The Trailblazers of Distinction were selected in concurrence with the Patriot League's yearlong celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX.
Each Trailblazer of Distinction represents the Patriot League's vision for their achievement of athletic potential in addition to values of integrity, character and personal development. Collectively, the women and teams recognized have served as shining examples of the importance of the journey toward inclusion and gender equity.

IT'S A WRAP...A Note from Director McGorrey
I wanted to thank you for the great reception to our students' performance of Guys and Dolls Jr.! Our cast and crew did an amazing job bringing the story to life, and I'm very proud of them. :)
I've had a few people ask me if there was a recording -- there was an available recording license for this one, so we took advantage of it. The recording is located here.
**Our spring musical, "Kiss Me, Kate!" runs March 2nd+3rd (7PM) and March 4th (2PM)**
Over 70 students and staff have been diligently preparing over the past few months, and we can't wait to share the production with our community!
"Kiss Me, Kate" was last produced here at PHS in 1999, and is a classic Cole Porter musical featuring familiar tunes such as "Another Openin', Another Show", "Too Darn Hot", and "Tom, Dick, or Harry". The plot revolves around the romantic and professional lives of a divorced couple, Fred and Lilli, who are co-starring in a musical version of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew''. As they perform, the tensions from their past relationship surface, complicating their present lives on and off the stage. Comedic Gangsters loom throughout the show to collect their I.O.U.'s, but the show must go on at any cost. This 'show within a show' earned the first ever Tony Award for best musical in 1949, and is sure to entertain, challenge, and inspire you with its memorable songs. We hope you will "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" and join us!
