ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS!  Internet Safety Presentation

On Tuesday, January 24th at 6:00 PM in the high school auditorium, the Palisades School District will host an Internet Safety presentation. Senior Special Agent Argetsinger will be presenting a program called “Internet Safety and Children”, which was created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. “Internet Safety and Children” will help parents/guardians understand the risks children face when they are using the internet and ways to mitigate those risks. Topics covered will include:  Inappropriate content, Online privacy, Sexting, Online sexual solicitation, and Cyberbullying. Girls Wrestling 

This Saturday, January 7th, our Girls Wrestling team will compete in two dual meets at Liberty High School. At 3:00 PM the girls will battle Delaware Valley High School and at 4:00 PM they will take on Liberty High School. These two dual meets will be the first team competitions in school history for our girls! Good Luck Lady Pirates!

Carr and Mitsch named to All-State Football Team 

Congratulations to Sheadon Carr (Offensive Tackle) and James Mitsch (Center) who were selected to the Pennsylvania Coaches 2A All-State Team! 

Haubert Places 2nd at Holiday Wrestling Tournament 

During the holiday break Danny Haubert placed 2nd at his weight class at The Trojan War Tournament in Chambersburg, PA. 

2023-24 Technical School Application is OPEN 

Students interested in attending the Upper Bucks County Technical School for the 2023-24 school year must complete an online application.  The completion of the application is only necessary for students that will be new to the Technical school. The application is available using thislink and should be completed by February 9th. Completed applications are required to be considered for all shop areas.  Videos are available to review the programs through their website and students/parents are encouraged to view videos for shops for which they are interested in applying.  

Again, returning Technical School students DO NOT need to complete the application. ONLY those who did not attend the Technical school this year must complete the application.

WINTER BASEBALL CLINICS:

January 15th, 22nd & 29th & February 5th

(Snow make up day February 12th)

Help Wanted

Short-Term English Teacher at Palisades High School - available approximately February 17, 2023 for a maximum of 12 weeks. The qualified applicant must have a current PA certification in Secondary Level English or Communications. 

Applicants should have a strong understanding of instructional techniques for high school students and strong technology skills with student learning management systems, such as Canvas and/or PowerSchool.

YOUTH SPRING FLAG FOOTBALL:

Youth NFL Flag Football provides an exciting way for kids to have a blast practicing and playing the game, all while learning valuable lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and commitment. There is NO travel involved as all games are played at the fields in Perkasie. Teams are assigned actual NFL team names and each player is given a reversible jersey with the team logo.
