Part-time Nurse - (Non-Certified): part-time, 15-25 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible. Candidates will not work during holiday breaks per the Palisades calendar. Hourly rate: $22.90 per hour after a successful probationary period per contract.
Candidates must have a current PA Nurses License in addition to CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Primary responsibilities include: (1) Screenings and records maintenance for non-public schools within the district; (2) calls to follow-up on student illness; (3) assisting with in-district student screenings; (4) availability to fill in as a substitute nurse for the day, when needed; and (5) Assistance in gathering information and tracking regarding COVID when requested.

Custodian – part-time at the Palisades warehouse. The interested candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as the successful candidate will assist with incoming deliveries and deliveries to all buildings, inventory at the warehouse, and operate a pallet jack. Deliveries within the district and the bank. Candidate will also assist with cleaning assignments, snow removal, and lawn care. Position is 3 hrs per day, 12 months, starting as soon as possible. Candidate must hold a current and valid driver’s license as candidate will be driving school van or box truck. This is a support staff contracted position. Hourly rate: $22.52/hour after a successful probationary period.

Part-Time Food Handlers: Part-time, 10 month, Food Handler positions available as soon as possible at the Palisades School District. Candidates must be able to complete multiple tasks, prepare food, cook meals, serve the student meals, and assist with routine kitchen tasks such as operating kitchen equipment and daily clean-up.
Positions Available:
- 5.5 hrs per student day at the High School
- 2.5 hours per student day at Tinicum Elementary
- 2 hours per day at Springfield Elementary

ATTENTION PARENTS: Students will be able to attend UBCTS starting in 9th grade!
Students interested in attending the tech school for the 2022-23 school year must complete an online application. The application is available using this link and should be completed by February 21st. Completed applications are required to be considered for all shop areas. Videos are available to review the programs through their website and students/parents are encouraged to view videos for shops for which they are interested in applying.
UBCTS NEW Program Information Session
Upper Bucks County Technical is excited to be holding an in-person information session to introduce our newest career and technical program for the 22-23 school year, Exercise Science & Sport Technology.
Parents/Guardians and potential students are invited to attend an information session at UBCTS presented by Dr. Michael Herrera on Thursday, January 27th at 6:00 PM. Dr. Herrera will provide an overview of the program and answer any questions from attendees.

CONGRATULATIONS TO NEW HEAD COACH FOR PALISADES PIRATES!
Bobby Smith was approved by the Palisades School Board as the new head coach of the Pirates on Wednesday, January 19th. Smith has been coaching football for 25 years and has extensive knowledge & understanding of all aspects of the game. He has been coaching in the Palisades School District for the last 16 years and has served as the League Representative for Palisades Pirates Youth Football for the last 15 years. Bobby has a very energetic coaching approach for motivating and mentoring players.
