Several years ago a program called the Student Ambassadors was born as part of the newly formed Palisades Coalition called PACT. PACT stands for Partners in Action for Community Togetherness. The student ambassadors are students at the elementary, middle and high schools who come together with the goal of developing leadership skills that will in turn help improve the Palisades community. Each of the student ambassador groups meets monthly and takes part in discussion, organizes service projects, engages in challenging team building exercises and enjoys socializing. The students are invited to participate in the program for various reasons such as excellence in academics, athletics, music, being a great citizen of the classroom, and more! The students in the program are a cross section of the community and are valued for what they can contribute to the group! These student ambassadors are important members of PACT and the larger community. They are encouraged to use their talents, ideas and voices to make Palisades an even better community for all of us!

This is a community organization which operates under the umbrella of the Palisades Community Foundation and is independent from the Palisades School District.
