To meet this projected demand, Governor Tom Wolf launched PAsmart, a new initiative to invest in the commonwealth's existing and future workforce.  See more information about this initiative by visiting:  https://www.education.pa.gov/Policy-Funding/SchoolGrants/PAsmart/Pages/default.aspx

Palisades is proud to be a recipient of this grant to help train teachers to implement computer science in their classrooms.  Thanks to our Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, Dr. Michael Donnelly for leading the charge!  Great work team!

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN SURVEYS-TAKE THE SURVEY AND LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!
The Comprehensive Plan drives the work that we do at Palisades every day. Over the past two and a half years, our district has focused our efforts in curriculum development, professional development, facilities management and budgeting to meet the goals of the current Comprehensive Plan (2016-19). The focus areas include:

·         Academic Excellence

·         Technology Integration

·         Community Engagement

·         Enriching Environment:  Wellness, Leadership and Mental Health

As we begin to develop our goals for the upcoming plan, we are once again asking for your input.  Please complete the parent/guardian survey by January 23rd using the link below. The data from the completed surveys will be compiled and analyzed by our Comprehensive Plan Steering Team (which includes representatives from many sectors of our community, including community leaders, parents, teachers, staff, administrators and school board members).  Throughout the Spring of 2019, many volunteers will be helping to develop action plans for the new Comprehensive Plan based on the information we receive from all of the completed surveys. As a parent/guardian of a student in our district, your input is essential. Thank you for taking the time to complete this anonymous survey. Parent/Guardian Survey
Also, as a community member, you received a paper copy of your survey in the mail. If you would prefer to take the survey online, please Use This Link - thank you in advance for your willingness to participate in our survey.
