The race will begin and end on the high school track - the majority of the course is a cross country course run on the beautiful fields of the Palisades campus.  Our walkers will use the stadium for their 1 mile walk.  All participants can register in advance using the link below or on the day of the event (at 7:30AM) at the front of the high school.

Race starts at 9AM.

Distracted Driving Assembly and Exhibit

A BIG thank you to Kyle Milligan (Class of 2018), Evelyn Keogh (Class of 2020) and the Palisades Fire and Rescue Company (formerly Ottsville Volunteer Fire Company and the Riegelsville Volunteer Fire Company) who gave a Distracted Driving presentation to our 11th and 12th graders earlier today. Also, special thanks to the following exhibitors that had displays following the presentation:  The Palisades Fire and Rescue Company, Pennsylvania State Police, PHS Chief Science Officers, PHS S.A.D.D. club, PHS Video Class, and the Bucks County TMA Group (several pictured above).

THE STOVER MILL GALLERY WELCOMES PAUL McGINN & SIMON MAUER

May brings Silent Music II with painters Paul McGinn (left) of Kintnersville and Simon Mauer (right) of Holland, PA, presenting an exhibition of works in oils and watercolors. While occasionally working outdoors, Paul paints primarily in the studio from photographs examining them for effects that are fleeting. Simon, on the other hand, paints mainly from life or on site and captures landscapes, still life, portraiture, and animals. The exhibit is open from 1:00 to 5:00pm on May 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, 28-29.

The 182 year – old Stover Mill is located on the Delaware River at 852 River Road (Route 32), Erwinna, PA 18920, two miles south of the Frenchtown Bridge and 15 miles north of New Hope.   It is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.  The Stover Mill Gallery is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from 1 – 5 pm, April to October.  The Gallery is ADA compliant (handicap accessible).

The Tinicum Civic Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and all proceeds from its sponsored events are used for the support of non-profit groups serving the local community, and for the maintenance of the historic Stover Mill.  For further information on all events call and leave a message at 610 - 294 – 9420 or check the website at www.StoverMillGallery.org
