Girls Soccer DXI Champs
GIRLS SOCCER DISTRICT XI CHAMPIONS:

Congratulations to our Girls soccer team for winning the District XI 2A championship with a 1-0 victory over Allentown Central Catholic HS!  This District XI Girls soccer championship is the first in school history!

The girls will play in the first-round of the PIAA State Championship tournament on Tuesday, November 6th.  Please refer to the PIAA website for more information regarding the scheduled location and time.

This evening our Palisades Pirates Football Team will compete for the Eastern Conference Championship versus Berks county opponent Schuylkill Valley HS. The game starts at 7PM at Walter T. Rohrer Stadium.

ON ANOTHER NOTE...Local school districts receive $25,000 safety grants:

The School Safety and Security Committee recently approved $12.4 million in school safety grants for 496 school districts. Per Act 44 of 2018, interested school districts submitted applications to the Committee to be eligible for $25,000.

(Palisades applied and was notified as a recipient of this grant to support our safety and security programs across the district.)

The totals for Bucks County are:

9,843.57 pounds/6,951.67 were from the permanent drop boxes


Montgomery County also did very well with a total of 9,056 pounds for this event.

Pottery Bowls

UPPER BUCKS EMPTY BOWLS SUPPER:  November 10th, 5-8pm

Volunteers & Diners needed for the Upper Bucks Empty Bowls Supper:
Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort by artists and concerned citizens to fight hunger on a local level. The Upper Bucks Empty Bowls supper will be held Saturday, November 10th from 5-8pm. For a donation patrons may choose from a selection of handmade bowls, donated by local artists and students. They will enjoy a soup & bread supper donated by local restaurants and keep the bowl as a reminder of hunger in our community. All money raised will be donated to The Lord's Pantry in Ottsville, PA.
