WRESTLING NEWS FROM PHS GRADS:
Tyler Marsh qualified for the division 3 national wrestling tournament, which will be held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, March 13 & 14. Tyler, a Senior, has had a fantastic career, going 108-30, including 29-5 this season and will be making his THIRD trip to the national tournament. Tyler was dominating for most of the tournament, scoring 3 pins and a technical fall to punch his ticket to nationals. Even more impressively, he has earned a 3.92 GPA at WPI.
Jacob Wasser qualified for the division 2 national wrestling tournament, which will be held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, March 13 & 14. Jacob, a redshirt Junior has battled injuries all year but peaked at the right time, coming from behind in 2 of his 3 matches en route to winning the 157 pound title. Jacob wrestled fantastic, defeating both the sixth, and fourth ranked wrestlers in the COUNTRY (he pinned the fourth ranked wrestler in the semi-finals) on his way to the title.
Good luck to both of these young men as they chase their dreams in 2 weeks.

Durham Historical Society

Phone: 610-346-9291
E-mail: [email protected]
The Historical Society is looking for volunteers. We've received shipment of the new windows for the warehouse portion of the mill. We'd like to have them painted (the outside portions) and stained (the sides that will be facing into the interior of the building) before they are installed. George Mason has graciously volunteered to do the installation but he won't be able to start on the project until early spring. This gives us some time to get the prep work completed. If you have an interest in helping out, please contact Dani McClannahan at the township office - 610-346-8911 - to get further instruction and entrance to the building where the windows are housed. The area is heated and painting and staining supplies and tools are available.
Timing is at your discretion and convenience during Township business hours.
