Patch 092019

ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS:

1.  PLEASE DO IT TODAY...Please complete your student's Returning Student Registration Form - it takes about 15 minutes to complete and you need to have your student's snapcode in order to process.  Documents that are requested DO NOT NEED TO BE UPLOADED to submit.  The information you provide is vital to our communications and for any needed medical care for your child.  If you need your child's snapcode, please email [email protected] or contact your school's building secretary.

2.  Chromebook Insurance may be purchased through September 30th! Please go to this link - Chromebook Insurance  - to purchase this coverage at $26/student for chromebook protection for the school year for your student's district issued device (students in grades 6-12).

3.  Voluntary Student Accident Insurance:  Are your medical insurance deductibles rising?  If you answered yes (or maybe even no), please read on! With high deductibles levied by insurance companies, or if you do not currently have medical insurance for your student, this is a program that you will want to consider. The Palisades School District offers you the opportunity to obtain a group Student Accident Insurance Policy. It is highly recommended that parents consider this accident insurance coverage to offset unreimbursed medical expenses(*) for unforeseen accidents that occur at school, even if you already have medical insurance.  NOTE:  Palisades School District does NOT carry medical insurance on students, therefore injuries that occur while participating in non-athletic, school-sponsored activities are covered by the student’s personal medical insurance.  For more information, please go to this page on our website:
 https://www.palisd.org/for_parents_students/student_accident_insurance

4.  Don't forget to download your PSD app from the App Store - for Android and Apple - it is FREE and easy to use!  A new tool and convenient tool for you!
